I just promoted your podcast on the (edited) homeschooling list. One of the moms was asking for ideas on teaching hymns to her children. I think Time Out would be a great resource for doing that!

As a guy who has only been Lutheran for 3 years I just want to say “thank you” for your podcast. Some of these hymns are tricky for me but the words are just awesome! Thanks for recording them.
Rev. Dr. Gregory Wismar, Chairman of the LCMS Commission on Worship, email, August 5, 2010:
Hi Dan! It was a pleasure to listen to your program. Your format is engaging and your presentation is very listenable. God’s blessings to you! Pastor Greg Wismar
David L., Facebook message, 23-Jul-2009:
There are 3 shows that I listen to religiously: Issues, F4F, and your program. I really enjoy your program. I have an Outlook reminder for these programs.
Theresa K. from Katiie’s Beer (Facebook message 13-May-2009):
I listened to my first Time Outs last week. I had been subscribing and forgot, so they were all there in my iTunes like forgotten treasures. I was shocked. Ya know how, sometimes, people have podcasts and you feel slightly embarrassed for them when you listen? With your Time Outs, I was thinking, “Holy cow! I had no idea these were so GOOD!” You are obviously on to something big here. I will try to promote them more. What a great, electronic, more interactive, devotional.
Stand Firm: Take a Time Out
Time Outs are now migrating to radio as well, since they’ll be appearing on Pirate Christian Radio. Take a Time Out – you’ll be glad you did.
Putting Out the Fire: A Time Out for Time Out
So take a Time Out yourself and give Dan’s audio posts a try and I’d be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that you’ll enjoy his reading of Scripture and the doctrine of historic Christianity as well as his singing of beautiful Christ filled hymns.
Thank you Dan for giving us an audio equivalent of the TDP!
Lutheran Lucciola: “Time Out” From Dan
It’s a fantastic idea, being a non-political, mini episode for people. I will use this especially in the evening, winding down from my day.
Weedon’s Blog: Time Out
You get Scripture and song – and it makes me wish Dan were singing in MY church’s choir!
