Organist: Deaconess Sara Lemon, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Oakmont, PA

This week at the house has been and will continue to be busy, but I was able to get most of Episode 12 done while I was in Michigan.

This is the last track I had recorded in March with Deaconess Lemon. I do have an opportunity to get back this month, but I don’t know how soon.

Text: Acts 2:14-47. Hymn: 880, “Now Rest beneath Night’s Shadow”.

Soprano: Sherry McCarty, Trinity Lutheran Church, Traverse City, MI
Organist: Deaconess Sara Lemon, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Oakmont, PA

While at Matins on Sunday I heard Sherry McCarty singing nearby, and I had to ask her to sing for Time Out. She was more than gracious enough to kick in a few verses. Sherry is a background singer for Judy Harrison and High Impact, a country music group out of Traverse City.

Special thanks to Deaconess Sara Lemon for joining me on the vocals while I was in Pennsylvania. I think you’ll agree, the joint venture turned out quite successfully.

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

Text: Hebrews 9:11-28. Hymn: LSB 421, “Jesus, Grant That Balm and Healing”.

The accompaniment is provided by Deaconess Sara Lemon on the pipe organ at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Oakmont, PA.

The hymn was requested by Pastor Wil Weedon of Hamil, IL, and I threw a little dedication in there for my dad, who is recovering from heart surgery and its aftermath. He’s out of intensive care but is enduring stroke-like systems on his right side. Your continued prayers and support are welcome.
